(Michelle) Crow Lopez (they/them) is an associate marriage and family therapist who has been working in the harm reduction field since 2007, as an advocate for people who use drugs (PWUD), people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A), 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, adults/transitional age youth experiencing homelessness, and folks navigating persistent symptoms of mental health.
In 2011, Crow co-founded New Orleans Harm Reduction Collective: Trystereo, where they passionately developed the program for 11 years, and wore a variety of hats including developing community overdose prevention & response trainings & providing NADA community acupuncture. They have an interest in frameworks surrounding the intersection of disaster harm reduction and community mental health & have been a panelist at Harm Reduction Conferences particularly in the US South. In 2024, they graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a Master of Arts in psychotherapy concentrated in Community Mental Health.
Crow’s clinical work is centered in harm reduction, decolonial, narrative, systemic, somatic, & psychodynamic frameworks.
