Sara Hofverberg has worked in social services in San Francisco for over 20 years. She currently works for the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services assisting in the development, funding, and monitoring of community-based programs to support the well-being, safety, and independence of adults with disabilities and older adults. Her area of focus is programs supporting the disability and LGBTQ+ communities. Prior to her work with the City, Sara worked in the nonprofit sector supporting justice-involved people coming out of jail and prison.  Sara is also a long-time member of the Board of Directors for the Coalition on Homelessness.  In her spare time she enjoys coordinating the accessibility services for a local music promoter, including the Outside Lands Music Festival.
