Jeannie and Patt are taking the giant step of turning over the leadership of HRTC to a new team of Directors. In keeping with our ongoing work on DEI, antiracism, and de-colonizing, HRTC will move from a 2-person leadership structure to a 4-person model. This step elevates the four people who have been with us longest and who have stepped up for years to assume responsibility and express their leadership talents. They have been working together as a management team, and hiring one of them into an executive position or hiring from outside seemed a step backward toward a hierarchy that is not needed. We have been working together for 6 months to develop their unique roles and shared responsibilities. Each of the 3 clinicians will also stay connected with clients, as did Patt and Jeannie for 21 years.
